The Community Learning Center is close to home, close to friends and neighbors as fellow classmates.  Yet you’ll be learning from schools like Indiana University, Purdue, Indiana State, Ball State, University of Southern Indiana, Vincennes, Ivy Tech, Indiana Wesleyan, St. Marys of the Woods, and Taylor University.

Learn at your own pace, whether it’s day or evening classes, they are delivered face-to-face, Internet, 2-way video TV, or correspondence.  Work toward a certificate or degree, or enhance your skills through customized training.

The mission of the Orange County Community Learning Center is about YOU.  It is dedicated in providing programs and services- emphasizing one-on-one assistance.  Dean Johnson, coordinator, is more than happy to assist with registration, assessment testing, and career information.   Simply give him a call, and schedule time to discuss your future possibilities.   His number is: 723-4171.

You’ll find achieving your goals is closer than you think.

Some courses such as English, Sociology, or Mathematics require that you complete an academic skills assessment prior to registering for the course. If you don't have a current SAT or ACT score, you will need to take an approved placement test in reading, writing, and mathematics. Your advisor will use your scores to help ensure that you are successful in the classroom.

There is no charge for the placement test and it can be taken at your convenience. All you have to do is call the Community Learning Center for an appointment.  Your test will be scored immediately so you can register for classes the same day.
