The CLC of Jackson County Coordinator will begin maternity leave early May and will be returning in mid July. During this time period, if you are in need of test proctoring services please contact Susan Louden at 812-522-8772 to arrange for an appointment. If you are in need of an Ivy Tech COMPASS assessment during this time, please contact the Ivy Tech Columbus Testing Center at 812-374-5211 to arrange an appointment. If you need information regarding Ivy Tech Community College please call 1-800-922-4838. If you need information regarding Indiana University Purdue University Columbus please call 812-348-7311. Placement Assessments |
Both the COMPASS online assessment for Ivy Tech Community College and the ACCUPLACER online assessment for Vincennes University can be completed here at the Community Learning Center of Jackson County. Appointments are required for this service. Please call 812-524-8788 to schedule your appointment for completing your college's placement assesment.

Want to know what type of job you'd be good at? Want to know how your interests and skills can lead to an enjoyable career? The Community Learning Center of Jackson County is now providing personal career assessments which will target your key areas of interest and your critical aptitudes. Based on this information, a series of easy-to-understand reports are generated to assist each individual in planning for their education and career. Call the coordinator, Amy Heideman, to set up an appointment to go through the CareerScope assessment.
